Invercargill's major tertiary education provider, the Southern Institute of Technology, is nationally renowned for its innovative Zero Fees Scheme. The Southland campus of Dunedin College of Education provides a range of teacher education programmes in Early Childhood, Primary, Primary Bilingual and Secondary.
